Will The Real Christians Please Pick Up Your Swords?

Warning..Not for the sensitive

Do you realize that we are in a battle? There is a war raging constantly for the souls of mankind. Take a look around you. The enemy is working overtime destroying families. Listen to all the tragedy in the news. He has young children disillusioned and trapped in drugs, sex, and gangs. He even has Christians deceived into thinking that it is ok to be on the sidelines or pew warmers.

As Christians we are called to be about out Father’s business. I remember the Lord once told me, “You take care of my business and I’ll take care of yours.” We are called to be doer’s of the Word, not just hearers. This is not a time for us to be selfishly seeking our own desires. We need to be fervently spreading the Gospel and setting an example as Christians. ALL of us, if willing, can be used of God. This will bring us all the blessings and fulfillment that we could ever imagine. It is in our service to the Lord and others that we learn and grow in the knowledge and love of God.

Have you personally lead someone to the Lord? Do you realize that you are called to share your testimony? That is how we overcome the enemy. We overcome the enemy by the blood of the lamb and the Word of our testimony. You don’t have to rely on yourself. The Lord will give you the Words to speak if you allow Him to. I pray that the Lord would ignite us all with his Holy Spirit. I pray that we would be on fire like the early church.

Christ’s return is near! Perhaps some Christians don’t really believe that. So many times we get caught up in just going to church and going through the motions. We begin to seek God more on what He can do about our problems that we forget that someone out there has it worse than we do. The enemy would have us get so caught up in our own selfishness that we do not make time for reaching out to others. Someone needs to hear your story.

Let us examine ourselves and see if we are truly being doers of the Word or are we on the sidelines? Christians pick up your Sword and put on your armor! Let us stand side by side with one purpose to preach the Gospel. We are in this fight together.

May God bestow on you all love, wisdom, and courage. In Jesus name..Amen!

Each day i pray for God to place a hedge of protection around me, my friends and family as a christian i know that the devil is out there. one of my favorite scriptures is 1 peter 5:8-9 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion looking for one to devour....Devour is a powerful word, he's not looking just to make life difficult, or to stress us out.. he looking to push those buttons and devour us. It is Gods armor of protection and belief in his mighty power that allows us to overcome these battles.I have recently experienced several opportunities to witness and evangelize and i am ready... With Gods help, my voice will plant the seed and the rest is up to the almighty. Praise God and his holy annoiting.. Our savior lives in us!!!

I see the hardships of the world. It’s not only apparent while watching the news, but it’s most apparent on the street, right outside of my house. Not-so-young children, like teenagers or pre-teens, have so many complications to deal with naturally. But I couldn’t fathom dealing with some of the travesties we hear/see today. A child becoming a mother at 10 years old; 3rd graders plotting to severely injure (potentially kill) their teacher with a knife; 13 year-olds making a bomb in school; teenagers filming and distributing physical violence; kids promoting and exploiting gang initiations and violence. These are just a few things I’ve heard on the news in the past WEEK. Only within 1 week!

I have children of my own and I pray everyday that God provides me with the knowledge, strength, patience and understanding I need to raise my children well. I pray everyday that they make the right choices now and later in life. Most importantly, I pray that my children embrace their lives with the Lord as their guide.

Am I ready for battle against the enemy? Being a new believer, I know I’m not equipped with heavy armor but I know I am equipped with the bible. By reading the Word and sharing my experiences/thoughts/revelations, I know that I’m prepared to fight. And I know that God is right by my side.

Jeremiah 1:19
19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD.

We’ve seen his Almighty power time and time again.

Exodus 15:8-10
9 "The enemy boasted,
'I will pursue, I will overtake them.
I will divide the spoils;
I will gorge myself on them.
I will draw my sword
and my hand will destroy them.'
10 But you blew with your breath,
and the sea covered them.
They sank like lead
in the mighty waters.

And we know that together as Christians preaching the Gospel and doing right by God, the devil will cower back into the darkness from whence it came.

Romans 12:20-21
21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

What a wonderful WORD. The Lord calls us to serve his kingdom. We are not called to sit back and go to church on SUnday and cry a little feel emaotional and maybe even give our tithe. No He called us to be witnesses of his Kingdoms and we have an obligation as Christians to spread his Word and do His will... For some people it might be envangelisn, for others it might be serving. Some are blessed financially and can give more. No matter what we all have Gifta and shouldlook to see what that Gift is and put it to work for His Kingdom. What comes to my heart is what if no one ever shared his Word with me. What if everyone was a Sunday christian, where would I be or where would my family be. I Thank God for that erosn reaching out to me and spreading his Word. For praying for me and for being patient with me. God is so good and we nned to pass His Love to other, just as it was passed to us. So in ending. Christians please stand up..

My God is Faithful!

My God is Faithful!
Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.He lifted me out of the slimy pit,out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.
