Crooked Path Straight

When you accepted Jesus as your Savior you put your life in His hands. Now your Heavenly Father is going before you and making all your crooked paths straight and at the same time making you a stronger Christian. (Isaiah 45:1-3) So don’t be surprised when unresolved issues that you may have avoided start manifesting themselves again. Don’t be surprised when it seems that your world is being turned upside down and there is trouble all around you. It could be an attack of the enemy or perhaps God is just testing your heart and refining you all at the same time.

When we were serving the world and our own selfish desires we made many mistakes and created crooked paths. Now God wants to help us fix those messes. Some times it’s done miraculously, but other times He takes us back to face the mess and gives us His grace and mercy to right our wrongs. This is all part of our growing process. Some issues can not be left undealt with. You see the Lord does not want anyone to be able to come against you with old unresolved messes. He wants to use you to serve others and be an example. So He is going to go through your life helping you restructure your finances, relationships, habits, responsibilities, and priorities.

Now that you are serving the Lord He wants to help you grow in faith, courage, and power. He wants to help you change your attitude and develop godly character in you. He wants you to learn to be confident in Him, the Holy Spirit, and His Word. He wants us to love Him with all of our hearts. (Deuteronomy 11:13, Deuteronomy 4:29, Deuteronomy 6:5) He doesn’t just want us to be obedient he wants our hearts to keep His commandments. (Proverbs 3:1, Deuteronomy 26:16, Deuteronomy 6:6)

Our Lord will allow us to be tested to display the intent of our heart and to see if we really love Him. (1 Thessalonians 2:4, Deuteronomy 8:2, Deuteronomy 13:3, Proverbs 17:3, Jeremiah 17:10) These tests encourage us to depend on His Word and help us grow stronger in our faith. He wants us to experience victory. So he will allow us to face trials and tribulation so that we can exercise our faith muscles. He wants us to see his deliverance and power. He wants to use these tests to build our confidence in Him.

These tests also help us see what area in our life we still are weak in and need to work on. So don’t be scared and confused. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Our Heavenly Father will never put more us than we can bear. He will give us strength to go through the fires and storms of life. In fact He will be in the fire and in the storm with us. Trust Him as He makes your crooked path straight and creates in you a pure heart.

As a Christian and a young adult, it's a constant battle between which path to take(Righteous or Crooked). Everyday I wake up, the enemy is there to test my faith but as a believer I have to stay strong and no matter the situation(Good or Bad), I have to remember that the Lord is there with me every step of the way. For I know he will lead the way so I can follow and recieve the greatest gift EVER! Eternal Life in the Kingdom.

Thank you Jesus for making my crooked pat straight. Even when it seems to me that the road is not straight.. As believers we must not lean on ouyr own understanding.. So we must believe that when we surrendered our Life to the Lord that has made our pass straight. In order for us to have this manifested i our personal daily walk we must read and do his will.. Read the MAP of Life and he will not navigate you the wrong way.

Thank you JESUS.

Now that I've been moving forward on my path at a steadfast pace, I've noticed the obstacles thrown in my way. Before giving my life to Christ, I'd see these as opportunities or "fun." But I see them for what they really are now... a true test of endurance.

We pray for forgiveness, salvation, knowledge. We say we're going to obey our Father's commandments. But do you continue to walk in His faith and love during the hard times?

Enduring the challenges; remaining faithful to the Lord; and continuing to obey his commands is a true test as Christians.

I've made my choice... I'm going to praise Him in the storm! Things might look or feel torn apart but I THANK THE LORD FOR HIS GUIDANCE AND LOVE. AND I KNOW, WITH HIM BY MY SIDE, I WILL ENDURE THESE STRUGGLES AND COME OUT VICTORIOUS!

I've heard many people refer to God by different titles ie. King of Kings, Lord of Lords, God most high.. The one title that I often use is Mighty Counselor, for me knowing that our God has the answers and knows the direction for us leaves me with a feeling of gratitude. I am forever grateful that our Lord Jesus Christ has straightend my path, and i trust that as long as i stay faithful to the Word, my paths will remain straight. With God all things can be accomplished, and every day i pray for the strength to avoid any temptations to sin and to keep steadfast to the Word of God, Thank you Jesus for Loving me first, and I am forever grateful for the direction you've provided, your Word is my roadmap to life and i know that following your Word will make our paths straight. In Jesus Name....AMEN!

My God is Faithful!

My God is Faithful!
Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.He lifted me out of the slimy pit,out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.
